I know that some of you have wondered what exactly goes on during an on-course lesson and why would it be helpful. Probably the phrase on-course coaching is a better description because we are doing much more than a single “lesson” during those 9 holes together. These nine hole sessions are designed to help bridge the gap between driving range and golf course and to evaluate a players skills and tendencies in the real life world of the golf course. The ultimate goal being to help the player better understand the tools and strategies for shooting lower scores.
Here are a few examples of items we cover:
Also students are welcome to ask questions and receive demonstrations on specific shots that may not be normally covered in a golf lesson. These course sessions are your opportunity to evaluate and learn in a non-judgmental environment with player and coach. You will also learn about the 10 Keys To Scoring that will really open your eyes to a proper way of thinking your way around the golf course.
The format of your playing lesson will be arranged with just you and your coach. A playing lesson can take more time per hole than a normal round of golf so plane your time accordingly. We will observe the etiquette of letting others play through as needed. Your playing lesson fee will include instructor cost, greens fee and cart rental.
